Mediprox GastroDraw pull-technique PEG feeding tube with tapered leading end and compliant dome internal bumper

Enteral Access — PEG · Pull Technique

Mediprox™ GastroDraw™ PEG Tube

Pull-technique enteral access — gentle through the tract, gentle on the stomach.

For patients whose oral intake is inadequate while the gut still works, the GastroDraw™ tube establishes a feeding route directly through the abdominal wall, keeping nutrition enteral rather than parenteral. It is built for the Ponsky–Gauderer pull technique — drawn through the tract on a snared placement wire via a pre-attached traction loop — the method ESGE recommends as the standard for PEG placement.

  • Tapered, tract-dilating leading endNarrows well below shaft diameter and widens progressively into the shaft, dilating the tract as it is drawn through rather than meeting it as a step — less resistance at the abdominal wall, less traction on the oesophagus and fresh stoma.
  • Compliant dome internal bumperA soft dome that flattens under load, seating broadly against the gastric mucosa without presenting a hard rim — and whose compliance allows removal by steady external traction at end of therapy, without a second endoscopy.
  • Trim-to-length shaft, 12–24 FrSupplied at 600 mm and trimmed to the patient in situ once the bumper is seated, so one length covers all body habitus; plain and Luer-lock feeding adapters match whichever giving set the unit uses.
