HealVac Pro
Advanced NPWT System
A UK-engineered intelligent Negative Pressure Wound Therapy system developed to enhance healing outcomes through consistent clinical stability, improved patient mobility, and a cost-effective model that makes advanced wound therapy more accessible across modern healthcare settings.
Understanding NPWT
How Negative Pressure
Wound Therapy Works
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is a clinically proven technique that applies controlled sub-atmospheric pressure to a wound bed through a sealed dressing system, actively promoting the body’s natural healing processes.
The Science Behind Wound Healing Under Negative Pressure
NPWT works by placing a specially designed sealed dressing over the wound site, connected to a therapy unit that generates controlled negative pressure (vacuum). This sub-atmospheric environment creates a series of beneficial physiological effects that significantly accelerate the wound healing timeline.
The system actively removes excess wound exudate and potentially infectious materials from the wound bed, while simultaneously reducing bacterial bioburden. This cleaner wound environment, combined with mechanical stimulation from the vacuum, promotes granulation tissue formation and draws wound edges closer together.
Controlled Therapeutic Pressure — Sub-atmospheric pressure is applied evenly across the wound surface through the sealed dressing system.
Exudate & Bacteria Removal — The vacuum actively extracts wound fluid and infectious material, reducing bioburden and infection risk.
Granulation Stimulation — Mechanical forces promote blood flow and stimulate the formation of new granulation tissue at the wound bed.
Reduced Infection Risk — The sealed, controlled environment minimises external contamination and creates optimal conditions for healing.
Clinical Advantages
Why Choose Negative Pressure
Wound Therapy?
Controlled Therapeutic Pressure
Precisely maintained sub-atmospheric pressure across the entire wound surface for consistent treatment delivery.
Exudate & Bacteria Removal
Active extraction of wound fluid and potentially infectious materials, reducing bioburden and promoting a cleaner wound bed.
Granulation Stimulation
Mechanical micro-deformation at the wound surface promotes angiogenesis and accelerates granulation tissue formation.
Reduced Infection Risk
Sealed dressing environment minimises external contamination while continuous fluid evacuation controls bacterial load.
Device Features
Engineered for Clinical Excellence
Every aspect of HealVac Pro is designed to deliver reliable, intelligent wound therapy with maximum flexibility for clinicians and patients.
Compact & Portable Design with Long Battery Life
The HealVac Pro is lightweight and compact, enabling easy mobility across hospital wards, home-care environments, and outpatient settings. The built-in rechargeable battery provides approximately 24 hours of continuous operation after just a 3-hour charge — supporting uninterrupted wound therapy throughout the day without tethering the patient to a power source.
Wide Adjustable Negative Pressure Range
The negative pressure is adjustable from -40 mmHg to -300 mmHg, providing a broad therapeutic window suitable for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds. Therapy settings can be easily configured and monitored via an intuitive colour touchscreen interface, allowing precise operation by clinical staff or trained caregivers with minimal learning curve.
Three Intelligent Therapy Modes
The system offers three clinically optimised therapy modes — Continuous, Dynamic, and Intermittent — allowing clinicians to customise treatment protocols according to individual wound conditions, healing stage, and patient tolerance. Each mode is engineered to address specific clinical requirements, from stable post-operative incision management to aggressive granulation stimulation in chronic wounds.
AI-Powered Intelligent Monitoring & Safety Alerts
Equipped with an AI-powered real-time monitoring system, HealVac Pro continuously tracks therapy performance and automatically alerts users to any potential safety issues — including air leakage, tubing blockage, canister status, and low battery. This intelligent alarm system ensures safe, reliable therapy delivery by promptly identifying and communicating issues before they impact treatment outcomes.
Hospital & Home-Care Compatible
Designed for dual-environment versatility, HealVac Pro is equally suited for use in acute hospital settings and home-care environments. Its portable form factor, long battery endurance, and intuitive interface make it practical for clinicians managing patients across different care pathways — from post-surgical recovery to long-term chronic wound management in the community.
Therapy Modes
Three Intelligent Therapy Modes
Each mode is purpose-engineered to address distinct clinical scenarios — from stable vacuum delivery to cyclic perfusion stimulation.
Continuous Therapy
Provides uninterrupted therapeutic vacuum within the adjustable range of -300 to -40 mmHg. Once the preset pressure is achieved, the system maintains constant negative pressure without fluctuation until manually paused.
Designed for cases requiring consistent wound bed stabilisation, including post-operative incisions, graft fixation, and exudate control. Supports sustained microenvironment management and uninterrupted fluid evacuation.
Intermittent Therapy
Alternates between programmable ON and OFF cycles (1–99 minutes each). During the ON phase, therapeutic negative pressure is delivered within the selected range; during the OFF phase, pressure returns to 0 mmHg before the next cycle begins.
This full-release cycle enhances tissue perfusion stimulation and may promote granulation response in chronic or slow-healing wounds. Step interval adjustable from 1 minute.
Dynamic Therapy
Maintains continuous operation while modulating pressure within each cycle (2–98 minutes, adjustable). Pressure rapidly reaches 25 mmHg below the target level, gradually increases to the preset pressure, then decreases again — without dropping to 0 mmHg.
This non-zero oscillation design preserves vacuum integrity while delivering cyclic mechanical stimulation, balancing wound healing optimisation with patient comfort.
